Jean and John were extremely approachable, they really make it all about you so much so after only my first meeting with them I felt like I'd known them for years. They are a great team and very professional at what they do. They have a wealth of knowledge on financial matters and in the process make it very easy for you to understand. .I was having great difficulties with my mortgage lender after a particularly awful break up with a partner and to say that Jean bent-over-backwards to secure me a great mortgage is an understatement. She fought so hard for me, was available 24/7 and was even prepared to cancel her holiday until the mortgage was finalised. We have used John and Jean at more than mortgages for a number of years now and find them to be very efficient at their job. Jean and John get to know you on personal level, they learn and understand quickly your situation and goals. We feel we are covered for every eventuality, but don’t feel we are over cover or have been sold cover that we don’t need. We have used Jean for mortgages as well, sometimes we have need a mortgage quickly to move on a property and Jean has come through every time with the best possible deal on the market for us at that time. We find more than mortgages great value for money and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone.

My husband and I were impressed by the time Jean took to get to know our personal situation and requirements as these were not straightforward. She made us feel very comfortable, meeting with us in a private room and there was no feeling of being rushed. She patiently explained all possible options and took the time to contact our chosen mortgage supplier directly on a number of occasions to ensure everything was in order and communicated regularly with us till everything was concluded.

Jean gathered as much information from us as was required to assess exactly which product suited our needs. By collecting all the information at the initial meeting she was then able to process our application with the minimum of fuss. Any questions were quickly dealt with over the telephone or email. She kept us informed throughout the process and even kept track of the application whilst on holiday due to our tight deadline. Jean is excellent at explaining all the options. She does not use confusing terms or expect you to have a good understanding of the financial world. She uses plain language and makes sure you are entirely happy with a product before going ahead. She is easy to get hold of and always gets back to you. She keeps you on track with what you have to do next. She was, most importantly, a calm presence when we were trying to secure two mortgages in 6 weeks and things were pretty tight. I cannot recommend her services highly enough.

Jean always responds to emails and phone calls in a very timely fashion. She has a sense of humour and engages with me as a person.
